あめと かぜの おやすみうたThe Rain and Wind's Lullaby

夜よるになりました。外そとから、小ちいさな音おとが聞きこえてきます。Night has come. A small sound drifts in from outside.

ぽつり、ぽつり、ぽつり。雨あめがやねをたたく音おとです。Pit-pat, pit-pat, pit-pat. It's the sound of rain tapping the roof.

「雨あめの音おとって、きもちいいね」と、つむぎが言いいました。「うん」と、はながうなずきます。"The sound of rain feels nice," said Tsumugi. "Yeah," Hana nodded.

さわさわ、さわさわ。風かぜが木きのはっぱをゆらしています。遠とおくで、小鳥ことりの声こえも聞きこえます。「ぴい、ぴい」と、やさしい声こえです。Rustle, rustle. The wind sways the leaves on the trees. Far away, a little bird's voice can be heard too. "Tweet, tweet," goes its gentle voice.

ぽつり……さわさわ……ぴい……音おとはだんだん小ちいさくなっていきます。Pit-pat... rustle... tweet... the sounds grow smaller and smaller.

つむぎとはなは、ふとんの中なかで目めをとじました。Tsumugi and Hana closed their eyes under the blanket.
