こつぶと ぽちりの とけいのうたKotsubu and Pochiri's Clock Song

しずかな 夜よるの 小ちいさな おうち。It's a quiet night in a small little house.

ねずみの こつぶは、だんろの そばで、ふしぎな 音おとに 気きづきました。Kotsubu the mouse noticed a curious sound by the fireplace.

ちくたく、ちくたく。大おおきな 時計とけいが、時間じかんを きざんでいます。Tick-tock, tick-tock. A big clock was counting the time.

「こつぶ、あったかいね？」"Kotsubu, isn't it warm?"

猫の ぽちりが、そっと 丸まるくなって となりに よりそいました。Pochiri the cat came and curled up snugly beside her.

ごろごろ、ごろごろ。ぽちりの のどが、やさしく なっています。Purr, purr. Pochiri's throat was humming softly.

ちくたくと ごろごろが、一つの 音楽おんがくに なりました。The tick-tock and the purring blended into one gentle music.

こつぶと ぽちりは、その音おとに つつまれて、目めが とろんと してきます。Wrapped in that sound, Kotsubu and Pochiri's eyes grew drowsy.

ちくたく、ごろごろ、ちくたく、ごろごろ。Tick-tock, purr, tick-tock, purr.

二人ふたりは、いつのまにか、ぐっすりと ねむって しまいました。Before they knew it, the two had fallen fast asleep.
