くるみの どんぐりぼうしKurumi's Acorn Cap

夜よるになると、森もりの家いえに明あかかりがともりはじめます。りすのくるみは ねる したくを していましたが、だいすきな どんぐりの ぼうしが どこにも 見みつかりません。まくらの下したにも、ベッドの下したにも ありませんでした。When night falls, the houses in the forest begin to glow with warm light. Kurumi the squirrel was getting ready for bed, but she could not find her favorite acorn cap anywhere. It was not under her pillow, and it was not under her bed either.

「どこへ いったのかな？」 くるみは しんぱいに なって、家中いえじゅうを なんども さがしまわりました。"Where could it have gone?" Kurumi wondered, feeling worried, and searched all through the house again and again.

そのとき、まどの外そとから、ふくろうの みみが 声こえを かけました。「くるみちゃん、外そとの木きの えだに、ぼうしが ひっかかっているよ」Just then, a voice called from outside the window. It was Mimi the owl. "Kurumi, your cap is caught on a branch outside."

くるみは 外そとに出でて、せのびを して ぼうしを とりました。小ちいさな風かぜが、ぼうしを とばして いたのです。「みみ、ありがとう」 くるみは うれしそうに わらいました。Kurumi went outside, stood on her tiptoes, and took the cap down. A little breeze had carried it away. "Thank you, Mimi," Kurumi said, smiling happily.

ぼうしを ぎゅっと だいて、ベッドに もどると、あんしんした きもちに なりました。そっと 目めを とじます。 おやすみ。She hugged the cap tightly and went back to bed. She felt safe and warm, and gently closed her eyes. Good night.
