やぎの ピノくんの おやすみうたPino the Goat's Lullaby

山やまのふもとの小ちいさな小屋こやに、やぎのピノが住すんでいました。At the foot of a mountain, in a small little house, there lived a goat named Pino.

夜よるになると、ピノはいつも少すこし寂さびしくなります。窓まどの外そとは真まっ暗くらで、風かぜの音おとが少すこし怖こわいのです。When night came, Pino always felt a little lonely. Outside the window it was pitch dark, and the sound of the wind felt a bit scary.

「お母かあさん、外そとの風かぜは何なにを言いっているの？」ピノが尋たずねると、お母かあさんやぎはにっこり笑わらいました。"Mom, what is the wind outside saying?" Pino asked, and Mama Goat smiled gently.

「風かぜはね、山やまじゅうの友達ともだちに、おやすみを言いって回まわっているのよ」お母かあさんやぎはピノをそっと抱だき寄よせて、窓まどの外そとを一緒いっしょに見みました。"The wind is going all around the mountain, saying goodnight to its friends," Mama Goat said, holding Pino close and looking out the window together.

月つきの光ひかりが、牧場まきばを優やさしく照らしています。「ほら、あの風かぜが次つぎはあの木きのところへ行いくよ」Moonlight was shining softly over the meadow. "Look, next the wind is heading to that tree over there."

ピノは風かぜの音おとに耳みみを澄すませました。さっきまで怖こわかった音おとが、今いまは優やさしい子守唄こもりうたに聞きこえます。Pino listened closely to the sound of the wind. The sound that had scared him before now sounded like a gentle lullaby.

ピノはお母かあさんの腕うでの中なかで、そっと目めを閉とじました。Pino closed his eyes softly in his mother's arms.
