Kurosuke and the Lost Firefly
When night came, in his home in the forest, Kurosuke the little raccoon dog got into bed. But a small sound from outside caught his attention, and he could not fall asleep.
Kurosuke quietly poked his head out of his den. Deep in the grass, a tiny light was flickering. When he came closer, he found Chirara, a firefly who was lost. "I don't know the way home," Chirara said in a small voice.
Kurosuke took out his treasured glowing stone from his pocket. "This will light our path, let's look for your home together." Kurosuke and Chirara set off toward a cluster of flowers, guided by the stone's soft glow.
After walking for a while, a gentle light appeared from among the flowers. Chirara's mother had been waiting there. "Thank you, Kurosuke," she said, smiling warmly.
Kurosuke went back to his own den and snuggled into his warm bed. The sound outside did not bother him anymore. Feeling relieved, Kurosuke closed his eyes.
Good night.
