くものフウちゃんと ながれぼしのハヤテくんFuu the Cloud and Hayate the Shooting Star

ある 夜よるのこと。One night.

夜空よぞらに ふわふわと 浮うかぶ 小ちいさな 雲くもが いました。名前なまえは フウちゃん。フウちゃんは 毎晩まいばん 夜空よぞらを 散歩さんぽするのが 大好だいすきでした。In the night sky, there was a little cloud floating softly. Her name was Fuu. Fuu loved taking walks through the night sky every evening.

今日きょうの 夜よるは お月つきさまが まんまるで、お星ほしさまが きらきら 輝かがやいています。フウちゃんは うっとりと まわりを 眺ながめていました。Tonight, the moon was perfectly round, and the stars were twinkling brightly. Fuu gazed around in wonder.

「今日きょうの 夜空よぞらは とっても きれいだなあ」"The night sky is so beautiful tonight."

その時とき、フウちゃんの 目めの 前まえを 何なにかが シューっと 通とおり過すぎました。Just then, something whooshed past right in front of Fuu.

「あれ、何なにだろう」"Oh, what was that?"

フウちゃんが 見上みあげると、光ひかりの 筋すじが 空そらに 残のこっています。そして その 光ひかりが くるりと 戻もどってきました。When Fuu looked up, she saw a trail of light left in the sky. Then that light circled back.

「やあ、こんばんは。ぼくは 流ながれ星ほしの ハヤテだよ」"Hello there. I am Hayate the shooting star."

目めの前まえに いたのは、金色きんいろに 輝かがやく 流ながれ星ほしでした。ハヤテくんは 元気げんきよく 挨拶あいさつを しました。Standing before her was a shooting star glowing golden. Hayate greeted her cheerfully.

「私わたしは 雲くもの フウ。流ながれ星ほしさんに 会あうのは 初はじめてだわ」"I am Fuu the cloud. This is my first time meeting a shooting star."

フウちゃんは うれしくて 胸むねが どきどき しました。Fuu's heart beat fast with excitement.

「ねえ、フウちゃん。君きみは 夢ゆめの 国くにへ 行いったことが ある？」"Hey, Fuu. Have you ever been to the Land of Dreams?"

「夢ゆめの 国くに？　聞きいたことは あるけれど、行いったことは ないわ」"The Land of Dreams? I have heard of it, but I have never been there."

「じゃあ、一緒いっしょに 行いこうよ。ぼくが 案内あんない するよ」"Then let's go together. I will show you the way."

ハヤテくんは きらきらと 光ひかりりながら フウちゃんを 誘さそいました。Hayate sparkled brightly as he invited Fuu.

「本当ほんとうに いいの？」"Is that really okay?"

「もちろん。さあ、ぼくに つかまって」"Of course. Come on, hold on to me."

フウちゃんは ハヤテくんの 光ひかりに そっと 手てを 伸のばしました。すると 二人ふたりは きらきらの 光ひかりに 包つつまれて、空そらの 奥おくへ 飛とんでいきました。Fuu gently reached out to Hayate's light. Then the two were wrapped in sparkling light and flew deep into the sky.

しばらく 飛とんでいくと、大おおきな 虹色にじいろの 門もんが 見みえてきました。After flying for a while, they saw a large rainbow-colored gate.

「ここが 夢ゆめの 国くにの 入いり口ぐちだよ」"This is the entrance to the Land of Dreams."

ハヤテくんが 教おしえてくれました。門もんの 向むこうには 不思議ふしぎな 世界せかいが 広ひろがっています。Hayate told her. Beyond the gate, a wonderful world spread out before them.

夢ゆめの 国くにには、わたがしみたいな ピンクの 森もりや、キャラメル色いろの 川かわが 流ながれていました。空そらには しゃぼんだまの ような 丸まるい 虹にじが ぽかぽか 浮うかんでいます。In the Land of Dreams, there were pink forests like cotton candy and rivers the color of caramel. In the sky, round rainbows like soap bubbles floated gently.

「わあ、すてきなところね」"Wow, what a lovely place."

フウちゃんは 目めを きらきら させました。Fuu's eyes sparkled with delight.

「あそこに 見みえるのが、夢ゆめの お城しろだよ」"Over there is the Dream Castle."

ハヤテくんが 指ゆびさした 先さきには、きらきらと 光ひかりる 水晶すいしょうの お城しろが ありました。Where Hayate pointed, there stood a crystal castle shining brightly.

二人ふたりが お城しろに 近ちかづくと、お城しろの 扉とびらが ゆっくりと 開ひらきました。中なかには 優やさしい 光ひかりが あふれています。As the two approached the castle, the castle doors slowly opened. Inside, gentle light filled the air.

「ようこそ、夢ゆめの 国くにへ」"Welcome to the Land of Dreams."

お城しろの 中なかから 出でてきたのは、ふわふわの 体からだを した 夢ゆめの 妖精ようせいでした。Out from the castle came a dream fairy with a fluffy body.

「私わたしは 夢ゆめを 守まもる 妖精ようせいです。あなたたちに 特別とくべつな 夢ゆめを 見みせて あげましょう」"I am the fairy who protects dreams. Let me show you a special dream."

妖精ようせいが 手てを 振ふると、あたりが 柔やわらかい 光ひかりに 包つつまれました。When the fairy waved her hand, the area was wrapped in soft light.

フウちゃんの 目めの前まえに、懐なつかしい 景色けしきが 浮うかび上がりました。お母かあさん雲くもと 一緒いっしょに 夜空よぞらを 散歩さんぽした 思おもい出でです。Before Fuu's eyes, a familiar scene appeared. It was a memory of walking through the night sky with her mother cloud.

「ああ、お母かあさんとの 楽たのしかった 日ひ」"Ah, that happy day with my mother."

フウちゃんは 温あたたかい 気持きもちに なりました。Fuu felt warm inside.

ハヤテくんにも、仲間なかまの 流ながれ星ほしたちと 空そらを 駆かけ回まわった 夢ゆめが 見みえていました。Hayate could also see a dream of racing through the sky with his fellow shooting stars.

「みんなと 一緒いっしょに 飛とんだ 夢ゆめだ」"A dream of flying with everyone."

二人ふたりは 幸しあわせな 気持きもちで いっぱいに なりました。The two were filled with happiness.

妖精ようせいが にっこり 笑わらいました。The fairy smiled gently.

「大事だいじな 思おもい出では、いつでも 夢ゆめの 中なかで 会あいに 行いけますよ。さあ、そろそろ お家うちに 帰かえる 時間じかんですね」"Your precious memories can always be visited in your dreams. Now, it is time to go home."

妖精ようせいが 手てを 振ふると、フウちゃんと ハヤテくんは 優やさしい 風かぜに 乗のって 元もとの 夜空よぞらへ 戻もどってきました。When the fairy waved her hand, Fuu and Hayate rode on a gentle wind back to the night sky.

お月つきさまは 相変あいかわらず まんまるで、お星ほしさまたちが きらきらと またたいています。The moon was still perfectly round, and the stars were twinkling brightly.

「ハヤテくん、今日きょうは ありがとう。とっても 楽たのしかったわ」"Thank you for today, Hayate. I had so much fun."

「ぼくも 楽たのしかったよ。また 一緒いっしょに 冒険ぼうけん しようね」"I had fun too. Let's go on another adventure together."

ハヤテくんは きらりと 光ひかりって、夜空よぞらの 向むこうへ 飛とんでいきました。Hayate sparkled brightly and flew off into the night sky.

フウちゃんは ふわふわと 漂ただよいながら、幸しあわせな 気持きもちで 目めを 閉とじました。Fuu floated softly, closing her eyes with a happy heart.

今日きょうの 夢ゆめは きっと すてきな 夢ゆめ。夢ゆめの 国くにで 見みた 温あたたかい 思おもい出でが、胸むねの 中なかで 優やさしく 光ひかりっています。Tonight's dream will surely be a wonderful one. The warm memories from the Land of Dreams are glowing gently in her heart.

夜空よぞらには お星ほしさまが 静しずかに またたいて、フウちゃんを 見守みまもっていました。In the night sky, the stars twinkled quietly, watching over Fuu.

さあ、君きみも 目めを 閉とじて。今日きょうの 夢ゆめは どんな 夢ゆめかな。きっと すてきな 夢ゆめが 待まっているよ。Now, close your eyes too. What kind of dream will you have tonight? A wonderful dream is surely waiting for you.
